Take Action Against Hunger in Our Community

SNAP benefits will stop on November 1, leaving 23,405 Central Oregon households without the food assistance they depend on. NeighborImpact and its network of food pantries are mobilizing now, but this loss will cause a sharp and immediate surge in need. No food bank system can replace SNAP. No single effort can solve this crisis, but every contribution helps someone eat today, this week, or this month. Shelves will run low and lines will grow long, but Central Oregon will face this together. Every dollar feeds someone. ~ NeighborImpact

The organizations below fight hunger in our community and need your support. You can help by donating food, giving funds, or volunteering your time. Every dollar you contribute provides three times more food through bulk purchasing power.

Food Donations. Food banks need nutritious, shelf-stable items that can help families make balanced meals. Most requested are canned proteins like tuna, chicken, and beans; rice, pasta, and cereal; canned fruits and vegetables; soups and stews; shelf-stable milk; and basic cooking essentials such as oil and flour. Personal care items like soap, toothpaste, and diapers are also greatly appreciated.
